Roller Coaster

The ride my emotions take on a daily basis

WY I Run... EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY

Workouts:
Saturday:  A day to myself where I took the time wake up to my grumbling tummy. Trainer (90) and then late in the day made it up to Beaver Creek to classic ski for 75 minutes-- my music and I
Sunday: I got Adam all to myself and we made it up to Beave Creek for a Skate Ski (100). I continuously skied with no pain and 10 x minute intervals... I needed the lung burning
Monday:  Core, Aqua Jog--60-- ( a review on my Swimp3 soon) and Trainer (60)

Saturday was rough. I was feeling sorry for myself and not doing much about it. I did however turn to a community that seems hidden amongst my self pity at times. The online support via Facebook and RunnersConnect, a slew of runners related to my situation, were empathetic, understood my challenge and lifted me up.
And..

Just a little bit of support and a show of appreciation and empathy goes so far and can miraculously put my head into perspective. Thank you to those who lift me up!
In due time the smile crept on to my face when skate skiing and my leg got along!

And as I slept through my alarm to throw me off on a Monday, I walked out to this...

  1. I'm glad you were able to get a boost this week, P! Want to skate ski this weekend maybe? I am slow but we could drive up to Beaver Creek together and maybe even drink some coffee!

    1. Yes please. Let's try to head up there at some point and if not, a little rendezvous at Old Town would be quite nice as well!
